*Lots to "Report"!!

Camden is now sitting himself up from a laying down position! He just started this on Friday... he's already a pro and it doesn't take him any time to just pop right up. He can also get back down on his tummy from a sitting position.

He's doing his own form of "crawling"... he kind of slithers like a lizard! It's pretty cute. He's rocking up on his hands and knees, and moves his knees, but can't quite get the "hand moving with the knee" thing yet.

Daddy gets a kick out of putting his pacifier in front of him about a foot away and watching him rock, shimmy his legs, scoot, and dive until he reaches it... he's getting faster at it every day.

He is soooo curious about everything around him. Here are some pics of him examining some of his toys on his exersaucer...

He's becoming so expressive, too. Whether he's making funny faces to be dramatic, or grinning from ear to ear, or "talking" to us to show off his deep little voice, or his favorite--blowing spit bubbles(!)... no matter what it is, he's constant entertainment for all of us right now!

We took Cam to Baylor one evening when both of the girls were with my niece Alli seeing Ice Age II at the theater (such a great big cousin!). Several students stopped to fuss over how cute he was in front of the Baylor sign... One even commented that this was a picture that should be on Baylor's homepage! Mom & Dad being Baylor grads (well, Dad in another 2 weeks), we were so proud!!

Mom only has to work at Baylor for 22 more years for Camden to get free tuition... HA! That's really hard to even think about. I'm still not exactly sure what I want to be when I grow up!! ;)

This same day, we had been to Bill (Joe's Dad) & Debbie's house for a 93rd birthday celebration for Joe's Nana (Bill's Mom). I got some shots of our family. Several people took pictures of each individual family and each of the siblings' families (Nana's kids' families). Hopefully I'll be able to get some of those pics, too.

Here are a couple of pictures of Mandi and 2 of her (& Joe's!) cousins... The first is Mandi & "Timmy." Tim is Joe's 1st cousin... Tim's Dad, "Uncle Bubba" or Rusty, is Bill's brother. Tim is 14 (about 8 months older than Mandi). The second is Mandi & Megan. Megan's Dad, Robert, is Joe's 1st cousin (Robert's Mom, Teresa, is Bill's sister). Megan is 2 years older than Mandi, so she'll be 16 this summer exactly 1 month after Mandi turns 14. Got all that?!?!

Well, that's gotta be enough for now! I'll try to keep up and not get so far behind before the next post!! :)

*We're Sittin' Up and Scootin'!!

Well, actually Camden's been sitting up for about 6 weeks, but is a pro at it now!!

And now he's up on his hands and knees rocking and scooting...sometimes a "step" forward before belly-flopping, sometimes a "step" backward!

Camden has almost sat himself up several times, although he doesn't realize how close he is to doing that. He also gets up on his hands and tip toes with his bottom in the air and REALLY doesn't know where to go from there!

It's so much fun watching him and seeing the little wheels in his head turning trying to figure all of this out.

A couple of nights ago all of us sat around him in a semi-circle in the living room floor watching him beginning to crawl. We'd laugh and clap and he'd giggle and grin!!

Camden loves playing and is so much fun to watch!

He loves his floor mat gym. Here he's looking at himself in the mirror attached to it...

*The Easter Bunny Came to Town!!

Gran gave Camden bunny ears for Easter. He was so funny just leaving them on and posing for pictures. Can you tell he's a frequently photographed child?!
Nannie decided to try on the bunny ears for size!

He wore his little preppy golf outfit to church. Daddy bought him this outfit (go figure!) He looked so handsome! He and Daddy had their pictures made just last week with Camden in this outfit... his 6 month pictures.

The girls were NOT wanting their picture made after church (they were ready to change clothes)! I was lucky to get a shot at all. (And I couldn't get Shelbi to brush her hair! Surprise, Surprise!!) Should have taken pics BEFORE church! But here's one that's OK...

I was able to snap a few more pictures of all of the kids later in the afternoon. Some were during what Joe called the "shortest Easter egg hunt in history"!!

Alli & Kelli tried on their prom dresses for us.

However, they've both apparently found different dresses since Sunday and these two beautiful dresses are going back!! So, stay tuned for prom pics in a few weeks...
